Great tasting shawarma, conveniently located in the mall. The white sauce is different than the traditional sauce served with shawarma, this one had more of a mexican twist but it was still good nonetheless. The staff were all very friendly and provided good service.

Hands down the best meal we had in Cancun. We discovered this place accidentally and after trying the food we literally went there every single day for dinner. The food was delicious, juicy and with the meat melting in your mouth. Bonus that it was halal! 10/10

We came to Barakah after a long day out in Cancun and were really impressed by the attentive and welcoming staff. We were immediately seated and the food came approx 20 minutes after ordering (decent time for a group of eight). The food tasted great and was filling, although I personally felt my wrap was a little dry (this was amended by adding some extra sauce to it). Overall a great place and would definitely recommend.

I was sceptical if this place was really halal but after talking to the staff, I was 100% confident it was! We were glad we found this place - the food was really good and reasonably priced. I would personally recommend the lamb taco. The service was good too. I would recommend.

Barakah food really saved our trip! We were so happy to have found a halal restaurant beside our resort - we ate there multiple times. Great authentic Mexican food. Staff was super welcoming & sweet. I highly recommend this spot!

Wow, they had me at Zabiha halal. Got the certification and everything. The owner is a very nice Muslim Egyptian brother and everything is fresh to order. We tried the steak, beef and chicken tacos. I really enjoyed the steak the most then beef. We also tried the lamb gringo and that was definitely one of my favorites. Very tasty, seasoned well and juicy. This is by far my favorite halal restaurant in Cancun, for what it is... it’s located inside the kukulcan mall, food court vibe

A great family-run business with an entirely halal menu! We loved their food—it was our first proper meal here in Cancun after struggling to find halal options. The beef burger was spot on, and the beef flank tacos were delicious. Exceptional service topped off the experience.

During my recent visit to 79th Element in Cancun’s Hotel Zone with my 8 other friends, I had a delightful dining experience. One standout feature of this restaurant is that their meat is halal, which is a big plus for those with dietary preferences like mine. The hamburgers were absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They truly set the bar high for comfort food. I also tried the trio taco platter. While the concept was great, I found that the chicken taco could use some improvement in terms of flavor and seasoning. What made the experience even better was the amazing service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. Overall, I highly recommend 79th Element for anyone looking for halal options in Cancun. With a bit more attention to their chicken dishes, they could easily become one of the top spots in the area.
